Rei is staring down the tea kettle like a particularly complex math problem (she's trying to make tea) and Kaworu had been talking quietly about the infinite diversity of humanity and Shinji's inherent kindness but then Asuka got home. she's currently in the middle of a rant about how Shinji brought this on himself that sounds suspiciously like she's still planning on beating up a couple of hosts when Haruhi texts back.]
