TEXTING MEME

You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

[he will go see his boyfriend and have a chill time] Of course. [and so he does and he's on his way to Angeal's. they have a nice time being older gay men hanging out being boyfriends, they even have a nice dinner of take-out and a movie just for funsies, why not? they don't need to cook all the time and Sephiroth does have that paper to work on while he's there.] [around 9pm Sephiroth texts Aerith again] I'll be on my way home soon whether or not Zack is still there. [he almost would rather stay the night with Angeal bc like...boyfriend...but that zoom call does have to happen and he would rather it happen in his own home for consistency's sake] I may have an untouched slice of strawberry cheesecake I'm bringing with me.

[luckily Aerith already jumped her boyfriend when he got to the door a few hours ago so now they're just cuddling and talking on Aerith's bed after eating some of their own cheap take-out. Aerith has been wearing the shirt Zack showed up in (he doesn't need a shirt and it looks way cuter on her anyway) instead of putting her own clothes back on.

she immediately pouts when she hears her phone vibrate on the bed side table. okay better check the phone since it's starting to get late...she reaches out to grab her phone and looks at it from her place on Zack's chest.]

well then...I guess I can forgive you for coming home early

[guess it's time to change back out of Zack's shirt...sigh....he can't go home topless after all....she's taking her sweet time getting it off and switching into her own pajamas regardless.]

you can take your time you know, I'm sure Angeal would love to spend more time with you

[Sephiroth looks over at Angeal and decides she's right, so he puts his bag down and settles back against the couch much to Angeal's raised eyebrow]

I'm glad you can forgive me.

I'm sure he would, too. I'll text you on my way out.

[he texts her at 10, knowing this full well and that it's a 20min drive home]

Seems I lost track of time. I'm leaving now.

[he feels a bit too lenient but it's not like he's on a strict bedtime schedule or he doesn't want them hanging out; he just wanted to sleep in his own bed tonight at a reasonable hour]

[Aerith made Zack some hot chocolate after they got changed while waiting to receive the dreaded 'on my way' text from Sephiroth but it just kept not coming. they just moved to the couch to cuddle in a new and less sexually charged setting instead. once it hits 9:45 with no text she mentions to Zack that Sephiroth must have stuck around longer than he planned. his text confirms her suspicions and she smiles.

Aerith shows Zack the text and asks him if he wants to stick around to say hi or if he wants to leave. while he's thinking about it he texts back.]

[he smiles a bit at the text and in the general direction of Angeal's bathroom where Angeal is getting ready for bed like a responsible adult who needs to go to sleep] Maybe. [he gets up to give Angeal's open bathroom door a knock to get a kiss goodbye before letting himself out and locking the door behind him bc guess who has a key to his boyfriend's apartment] I can only assume you did.

[Zack decides it's time to go home, much to both of their disappointment. he doesn't want to get caught in any Sephiroth scolding crosshairs at this late hour. Aerith packs up some of their leftovers for him to take home to Cloud before she responds to Sephiroth's messages]

[she's totally teasing him, he knows how she is when Zack's around so of course she had fun. Aerith goes to hover around Zack while he puts the leftovers into his bag and puts on his shoes so that she can pout loudly in his direction until he leaves.]

do you still have that cheesecake?

[he even sends a picture of it. well, it's still in its bag from some fancy restaurant with really good desserts so Aerith should know what she's getting]

[she puts down her phone for a minute after that confirmation so she can wrap herself around Zack and get one last kiss before he goes. 5min later he's out the door and Aerith picks back up her phone.]
