[Now that Akira doesn't need Morgana at school with him all the time, he just doesn't stow him away in his bag anymore. Morgana misses it, sure, but he's starting to dig the outdoor cat life sans hunting small prey and really mingling with the real cats. He just likes exploring and getting affection and free scraps from people who see him regularly.]

[He stands up from his little ball of sitting when Haruhi places the toy down. He sniffs it, bats at it with his paw, and "mrrow"s with delight. He puts his paw on it in a "this is mine and no one can have it" way that isn't very characteristic of real cats.]
{Thank you thank you thank you! I will treasure this weird mouse! No one's ever given me something like this before, or at least no one who wasn't a friend.}
[He purrs, lays back down with his chin on the toy and does the cat closed eye thing at Haruhi.]
