[It's about 11AM and Haruhi has been working at the coffee shop for almost an entire shift. She almost always opens and that's how she likes it. Opening gives her time alone with her thoughts and the rush that hits from 8-10AM on weekdays makes her days go by fast. She only has an hour left in her shift so it's about the time she know she'll probably be seeing Kyouya.

Usually she'll see some combination of most of the employees at the flower shop nearby earlier in the day. They always hold up the line to chat and over the past month those twins have been pestering her to invite them over, as if she ever sees any of them outside of work on purpose, but Kyouya has always been the latest. He's polite enough and his order is simple so it's really not the worst way to end her day.

Ah, there he is, right on time. Haruhi gets his order started and has it ready by the time Kyouya reaches the counter. She places the cup in front of him.]
