[Another day another not-a-date. Palette Town has been really fun, Sayu figured that Mello would either find something to enjoy or at least look really funny trying his best. So far he doesn't seem totally miserable so she's treating it like a win.

It's been a while since they started meeting up but these more casual not a date outings have been a more recent development, mostly at Sayu's request. If she's being honest, she's been interested in him pretty much since they met. He's just so...different! And exciting! Plus he can help her with homework, which she doesn't want to do but if she has to, yknow...it's appealing! Unfortunately, he seems totally disinterested in her outside of maybe friendship. It's unclear. On the other hand, since they started spending time together he hasn't been avoiding her or anything, which is a good sign, right?

Either way, she's not going to push for more. Except for maybe asking him out on more not-dates. Like today. And dress really cute. And ask him to go on the ferris wheel. It's right there. So here they are, on the ferris wheel, sitting across from each other. Sayu looks out the window and smiles at the view before returning her gaze to her edgy friend.]
