» 1. always night - sure is dark, huh? has it always been so late so long? » 2. camp unsafe isn't safe anymore - wasn't summer camp supposed to be, like, fun and stuff? » 3. new house new problems - this place is perfect and you got such a good dealon it, what could go wrong? » 4. the calls are coming from inside the house - there's no sign of a break-in, so what's with all the creepy shit going on in the house? » 5. the little shop that wasn't there yesterday - well, it wasn't. the shop keeper seems...fine. as fine as "suspicious" can get, at least. » 6. don't go in the woods - there's a reason no one tells you to actually go into the woods » 7. abandoned hospital - doesn't every town have one of these creepy things on the outskirts? » 8. haunted castle - sure, it was a nice place to run into as shelter from the rain, but who--or what--is waiting for you inside? » 9. town with a dark secret - people are being real shifty about their town for no apparent reason

» 1. costumes - costumes!!! the best part! there's probably a contest, maybe with cash prizes if the host is generous enough, or maybe just bragging rights until next year. » 2. party games - there's bobbing for apples, pin the face piece on the pumpkin (if that's a thing), group card games...plenty of options out there! » 3. selfie corner - it's a fold-up table with all kinds of props and a selfie stick on it, have fun! » 4. dance floor - either a dj is controlling the music or someone's spotify playlist. either way, it's time to get dancing and show off your moves! » 5. buffet - pizza? potluck? desserts??? spiked punch??? who knows what the spread's like! » 6. bar - might be a paid-for open bar or just an assortment of beers and wine coolers. » 7. quiet rooms - need a break? the guest bedroom is free to chill out in. or the bathroom if that's your thing. » 8. the host's pets - know who's better than people? the dog and/or the cat. » 9. going home - party's over, are you helping with clean up or are you dragging yourself home?

[Kuroko may be hosting this halloween party in his ghost costume but all he really wants to be doing at this particular moment is to hang out with his dog. He could have really made better choices about his costume so he'd have an excuse to carry around Nigou but the ghost idea was just too funny.

He picks Nigou up and plops himself down in a chair. Hopefully no one will try to sit on him.]

[After all the effort Momoi, dressed up as a cat this year, had to go through to drag Aomine to Kuroko's party, she ditches him almost immediately upon getting there to begin her quest to find Kuroko. She's run into a few of their friends along the way, but, unsurprisingly, no one's seen him in a while.]

[Just when Momoi's ready to give up, she sees Nigou in a chair. Well, she can at least go play with her favorite little dog!]

Oh, Nigou~! What are you doing all alone?

[She reaches out to pick him up but at the hint of resistance she stops, looks more carefully, and nearly jumps out of her skin with a loud "EEP!".]

[Kuroko looks up at Momoi, not reacting at all to her squeal. As far as not noticing goes this is probably one of the better responses. He really was worried someone might sit on him.]

Hello Momoi-san.

[He scratches behind Nigou's ears and then holds up one of his paws.]

Did you want to hold him?

[Momoi puts her hand over her chest for a moment and sighs. It's just Kuroko. She takes in his costume and can't help but giggle. A ghost, how appropriate!]

Leaning into being our resident phantom this year, Tetsu-kun?

[She feels her heart start to burst a little. It's always just the cutest thing ever when Kuroko does things with Nigou like that. She can't get over it. She can't get over Kuroko.]

[She nods, opening up her hands.]

If you don't mind! He looks so cute!

[Kuroko smiles at Momoi. He's glad she appreciates his little joke costume. At her request he picks up Nigou and gently deposits him into Momoi's arms. Nigou is dressed up as a pumpkin, making his body a little chunkier.]

I'm glad he's so patient with clothes.

[He gently pets Nigou's head while he's in Momoi's arms.]

I like your costume. You look cute, too.
