[One of the more annoying parts of being in charge of a religious organization for a religion that is not her own is having to keep track of all these holidays. She doesn't even know what this one is supposed to be about. There's presents and a tree but not just any tree, it has to be a specific type of tree. There's glittering decorations, but there's also a very solemn prayer in the Chantry scheduled for later today. Josephine, Leliana, and Cassandra had all tried to explain The True Meaning of Christmas, but it's difficult to piece together even when she's asking so many questions.

There's a small banquet, because of course there is, and Egg is moving further and further away from the tables towards her bedroom. It's a slow journey with nobles stopping her every few minutes. Once she hits the door to the library tower she gives up the dream of her bedroom and slips inside. She's willing to wager that it'll be more or less empty with the festivities going on in the adjacent hall. Egg glances up at the frescos Solas left behind before she takes the steps up to the library proper. Maybe if she's quiet enough she can pass time with a book?

At the top of the stairs Egg spots what looks like a small bundle of plants with berries on it attached to a bookshelf. She wanders over to look at it more closely. Seems like a weird place to keep a plant. It must be a decoration.]
