[Having a one-night stand with one of the most popular people in his graduating class wasn't really in Oren's agenda for the evening when Adora invited him to their local gay bar for a Pride event. The original plan was to let Adora dress him up, have a few drinks together, and then go home. Steps one and two went as expected, the two of them ending up at one end of the bar in matching glittered cheeks with matching pink martini glasses, until Taashath met Oren's eyes from across the room. Things escalated so quickly from there that all Oren could do was hold on for the ride.
This is not Oren's normal Saturday night. He's only ever had one even remotely similar experience in college, mostly having had sex in the context of one long-term relationship in the first couple years of undergrad. He hopes Adora will forgive him for disappearing on her but this is an opportunity he really couldn't pass up.
Oren had such a massive crush on Taashath when they were teenagers. He shined like the sun up on their school stage and in their shared classes, Oren couldn't help but be drawn in by him. It was a totally impossible prospect though. They were in completely different social spheres and they barely even spoke to each other unless they were in the same groups for in-class activities.
The crush cooled over time but the attraction never did. Now, laying in Taashath's bed, he's captivated. Taashath is still one of the most beautiful people Oren has ever seen even with his hair out of place and makeup sweating off. Oren is pretty sure the glitter that was applied to his cheeks hours ago must be all over the place, too, so he certainly can't judge.
Oren's got one hand resting solidly on Taashath's back, cradling him against his body, and one hand slowly trailing up and down the arm Taashath has draped across him. When Taashath tilts his head up towards him, Oren reaches up to wipe at a smudge of red under Taashath's mouth. He returns the smile, an amused expression on his face.]
I didn't realize you'd built up expectations so quickly. I'm glad I didn't let you down.
