TEXTING MEME

You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

[by the time Aerith goes to respond he's already walking in the door with Zack so she waves and greets them. Zack gets a kiss on the cheek when he gets close enough. after Tifa gets the chance to say hello and goes back to work Aerith pulls out her phone from a couple seats away from Cloud.]

Zack and I can go somewhere else to give you some privacy ;)

[she's staring at your spikey head]

[Cloud's phone goes off and at first he's like "oh?" and then he groans and puts it face down on the bar counter. he shoots a look at Aerith, debates with himself if he's going to entertain her, and ultimately gives in]

why would i ask her anything in front of other customers? not that there's anything to ask.

[you can't resist her Cloud, she'll just keep bothering you, that's her whole deal.]

Cloud you don't have to pretend you're not in love with her when it's just us texting

[Aerith sighs in a really exaggerated way and stares pointedly in his direction]

don't sigh too hard you'll draw attention to this stupid thing we're doing.

[he's distracted by Tifa for a moment, like they talk for a bit about if Cloud's having his usual or just some water; Cloud's was going to just have some water since it's late but now he needs that drink Tifa makes special for him]

whatever i decide to do is going to be on my own terms.

[Aerith frowns at her phone. rude.]

just think about what we talked about earlier

[she just watches them interacting with her head resting in her hand and she can see Tifa's extremely soft expression whenever she looks at him. do not let her get snatched up by some other person you big nerd!!! do you not see!!! Look At Her]

[he looks a lot he just has "i do not deserve her affection" shades on]

[he casts A Look at Aerith, thanks Tifa for his drink with a Soft Look and takes a drink]

[well she can't keep looking at them being stupid, she loves them both too much to be sitting here watching them mutually pining after each other as if they're not in love with each other. she puts down her phone and wraps herself around Zack's big arm and smiles up at him and thanks the lifestream that at least one person in this group isn't stupid (at least in that way). they're going to have so much to talk about later.]

[well he can't blame her for trying. she's at least left him a lot to think about. he pockets his phone and goes back to his drink and chatting with Tifa whenever she gets a chance to just chill with her friends. he doesn't think he wants the close schmoopy thing Aerith has going on with Zack but, y'know, something with Tifa would be nice. maybe he'll show her that small bird Aerith sent him and see if she finds that funny sometime.]
