TEXTING MEME

You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Not an object, no. He's pretty attached to my memories, though. Stuck, really. He's mostly mad that he can't interact with people and things. You should've seen him when I dropped my phone the other day.

That's interesting, I wonder how that happened. I suppose neither of you know for sure, that's part of the mystery isn't it? He sounds pleasant, though, at least comparatively.

[he hasn't gone into detail with her yet about the Ring's stuff, like how it chooses violence and that he can technically remove it most of the time but is always immediately compelled to put it back on, but maybe further down the route he will]

He's really helped me out, I don't know how well off I'd be without him. Is it really that bad for you?

[She's glad that someone else out there is able to believe her so easily, but she's worried for her new friend.]

I'm happy you have him with you, I can't imagine going through what you are without help like that.

It can get fairly bad at times, but I've learned to manage it somewhat. I suppose I wish he was less mean, really.

How long has he been with you?

Since middle school, so...

[I'm putting him at 20 for this, so not much older than her.]

About 7 years, I believe? That's when my father brought the ring back from Egypt.

That's so long!! Is he unable to get back to his home?

[What's "normal" when you're talking about spirits or whatever attached to your memories and or magical objects?]

I'm not sure if he has a home, he's never talked to me about one.

Maybe he needs help getting there, wherever it is. The ring came from Egypt, but it's not as if I can just go there.

Oh wow, yeah. That's...so far. I figured he might have a home or something since Orion does. He said he usually just travelled around but he does have a home to get to.

I suppose saving up for a trip wouldn't be too out of the question if it meant potentially dispelling him. It's not impossible. Far be it from me to keep him.

Well if you want a friend to come along, I can save up too. Oh Orion said that he's not from our world at all. It's kind of crazy that we're both in these situations that are similar but so different.
