[Aomine drags himself to Kuroko's couch as well, hovering near him as he curls up on it. And, god, when he looks at him like that? He wants to like...hold him or something. His eyes always make him feel things and having a crush on him all over again is making this whole thing harder than he expected.]

Uh...soup. I mean, some other stuff, like I got...

[There goes his composure. He digs in the bag like he's looking for it at the bottom, but he needs to remember what he's actually looking at so he can relay to Kuroko what he brought him.]

Let's see, [he clears his throat] got some sports drinks and tissues for ya.

[He lets the bag hang back down at his side. He almost leaves it at that, but Momoi's voice echoes in his head to remember to ask Kuroko if he needs anything and not wait for him to ask. He scratches the back of his head.]

Need any of that right now?

[Kuroko considers his physical being. He's not exactly thirsty but he could be hydrating better. He's mostly been moping around and sleeping.]

A sports drink sounds nice. Thank you for bringing them.

[He looks up at Aomine. He seems so awkward just standing there. Kuroko reaches out from under the blanket and gestures to the spot next to him on the couch.]

You can sit down if you want.

Sure.

[He reaches into the bag and retrieves a bottle. As he's deciding between red or blue--blue, obviously, why did he get red--Kuroko offers the seat next to him. He freezes momentarily. He didn't know where he was going to sit, maybe the floor? He didn't think that far ahead.]

[He hesitates. Then he shrugs, trying to shrug off being close to him, sick or not, and takes out the drink as he plops down on the couch with a bit of a distance between them. He hands the bottle over to Kuroko.]

Yeah just don't breathe on me over there, 'kay? Not that I wouldn't appreciate the excuse to skip class.

[Kuroko takes the bottle, opens it, and pulls his mask down to take a drink. He puts the mask back in its place quickly after he finishes.]

Don't worry, I don't want you to get sick.

[Kuroko keeps the bottle in his hands after he takes a drink to remind himself to keep hydrating. He observes Aomine for a moment. Kuroko realizes suddenly that it has been a long time since they were this close together in a setting that wasn't a basketball court. Is this weird for Aomine? He's making some weird faces. As sick as Kuroko is, it's hard to have any particularly complex emotions about the situation.

Kuroko shifts himself so he's leaning the side of his body against the back of the couch and is facing Aomine more directly.]

Am I making you uncomfortable?

[Well, yes and no. Aomine's mildly uncomfortable but it's not because of anything Kuroko's doing, it's all in his head. He's just...he's just into him. Again. He thinks about him a lot and he'd rather be closer to him, sick or not, than on the other side of the couch. He wants the closeness they had before but even more.]

[Aomine groans and scratches the back of his head. He turns his head vaguely towards Kuroko but doesn't look at him directly; his gaze drifts off to the side and downward.]

Huh? No. Why, am I doin' something weird, Tetsu?

[Is he doing something obvious? Is he acting weird? Is he giving off signals he both is and isn't trying to give off? This is complicated. He brings his eyes back up to Kuroko, actually looking at him all bundled up with that drink in his hands that Aomine used to hold.]

[Kuroko frowns behind his mask. Aomine is always very easy to read in general but watching the way his eyes slide off Kuroko's face is even more obvious.]

Aomine-kun, I know that you're lying.

[He sighs, did Aomine really forget his own tell?]

You're not looking at me. You're so stiff, you're making strange faces.

[While he's talking he shifts his drink in his hand, running his fingers along the sides.]
