» 1. always night - sure is dark, huh? has it always been so late so long? » 2. camp unsafe isn't safe anymore - wasn't summer camp supposed to be, like, fun and stuff? » 3. new house new problems - this place is perfect and you got such a good dealon it, what could go wrong? » 4. the calls are coming from inside the house - there's no sign of a break-in, so what's with all the creepy shit going on in the house? » 5. the little shop that wasn't there yesterday - well, it wasn't. the shop keeper seems...fine. as fine as "suspicious" can get, at least. » 6. don't go in the woods - there's a reason no one tells you to actually go into the woods » 7. abandoned hospital - doesn't every town have one of these creepy things on the outskirts? » 8. haunted castle - sure, it was a nice place to run into as shelter from the rain, but who--or what--is waiting for you inside? » 9. town with a dark secret - people are being real shifty about their town for no apparent reason

» 1. costumes - costumes!!! the best part! there's probably a contest, maybe with cash prizes if the host is generous enough, or maybe just bragging rights until next year. » 2. party games - there's bobbing for apples, pin the face piece on the pumpkin (if that's a thing), group card games...plenty of options out there! » 3. selfie corner - it's a fold-up table with all kinds of props and a selfie stick on it, have fun! » 4. dance floor - either a dj is controlling the music or someone's spotify playlist. either way, it's time to get dancing and show off your moves! » 5. buffet - pizza? potluck? desserts??? spiked punch??? who knows what the spread's like! » 6. bar - might be a paid-for open bar or just an assortment of beers and wine coolers. » 7. quiet rooms - need a break? the guest bedroom is free to chill out in. or the bathroom if that's your thing. » 8. the host's pets - know who's better than people? the dog and/or the cat. » 9. going home - party's over, are you helping with clean up or are you dragging yourself home?

[Ryou perks up. Okay. "It's been a while" is still anything at all. He doesn't like...lead conversations with interesting men with Duel Monsters discussions, he's not Kaiba. He finds himself slightly flustered, he hasn't gotten this far into a flirt in a while. It's not very far.]

Change of Heart. It's my favorite. I play competitively.

[He rolls the wine cooler bottle in his fingers. The urge to dramadump that he hasn't been able to go to a Duel Monsters meet-up at the card shop in weeks due to his ex showing up there and he doesn't have the restraining order yet is just bubbling at the surface and he's enough of a lightweight that it seems a little okay to do so. But, no, he must restrain himself. He's said like five short sentences to this man.]

[Ryou rolls his eyes, grabs his phone out of his pocket and, yeah, it's the ex. Terrible, abusive messages as usual. He swipes them away and opens up the group chat. "Turning off my phone, you know why." And, as promised, he turns off his phone with a disgruntled expression and then drops it back in his pocket.]
