[Yugi should have brought a puzzle or something to keep himself busy with. The idea of a kissing booth sounded good at first, but in practice? Not working out so great. He's trying not to get too into his head that it's because he's the one manning it currently--Ryou had to take a break from all the attention he was getting, and that was about half an hour ago.]

[So he's already not expecting anyone, and when Kuroko says something Yugi jumps. How did he not see him approach??? He knows Kuroko is just Like That but...jeez.]

Kuroko-kun! You scared me.

[Yugi has his hand over his heart as he sighs.]

Are you, uh, enjoying the festival?

[Kuroko doesn't really pay him any mind when he jumps. Not an especially surprising reaction. He gives Yugi a moment to recover.]

I am, there's plenty to see. How has the kissing booth been going?

[Yugi sighs and slumps forward on the table's surface.]

Depends. Bakura-kun had a long line, so we got a good amount of business. But since I took over we haven't had anyone come by.

[He hums a bit in thought.]

Well...one girl came up to ask about Bakura-kun. That's it.

[Kuroko watches Yugi. It seems Kuroko's initial instinct was right. Yugi must be feeling rejected. Well, that is something he can help with.]

Would you like some business?

[Yugi sighs, missing the hint. He may be small and bi, but this has been a largely heterosexual venture. Also he's just like that.]

Think you can get someone? No offense, Kuroko-kun, but I think it's a lost cause.

[Ah, he missed the offer. Well, Kuroko will have to be more clear then.]

I'll kiss you, if you'd like.

[Oh. OH. Yeah he totally missed that, thanks for being direct Kuroko!]

[Yugi's easy to blush so of course he's gone red in his cheeks. He shrinks back a little from feeling very shy about the offer.]

Oh, uh, right, that's what you meant!

[Flustered but mustering some courage, he un-shrinks a bit.]

Well...if you're a donor, then...yeah, that's what I'm here for!

[Okay even Kuroko has to admit Yugi is being very cute right now. He smiles.]

Alright.

[Kuroko pays the required price for the booth and leans in a little closer across the table.]

Do you have any rules about where I should kiss you?

[If we're being real, Yugi's probably never kissed or has been kissed by another boy. He's not great at doing anything with his Feelings like that. He's maybe had a kiss from a girl before, if so it was in this thread and I don't remember what I set up. Womp womp.]

[Point is, he's clasping his hands together on top of the booth's surface very nervously.]

Um--our rule is cheek or forehead. Or...hand? Bakura-kun got that request and it was sort of weird and--

[He stops himself from rambling any further by sucking his lips between his teeth for a moment. He takes a breath and straightens himself up.]

I'm ready when you are, Kuroko-kun!

[Kuroko nods at Yugi. He can definitely see that Yugi is inexperienced here. Kuroko, on the other hand, is quite experienced, so once he has the rules he's ready to go.]

Alright.

[Since Yugi is not very experienced, Kuroko assumes drawing out the kiss might cause him more anxiety than doing it quickly. He places his hands on the table and leans across to place a gentle kiss on Yugi's cheek. He doesn't linger, Yugi is his friend so he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable, so within a moment he's standing up again like nothing happened.]

[The kiss is quick and is over before he knows it. Painless (of course, that would be weird if it hurt), easy, done. He's still blushing so hard, though. He lets out another big breath because this boy was definitely holding it during the whole thing.]
