It's time for a picnic! Are you on a date or just hanging out with a friend? What kind of food did you bring--homemade, store-bought, or take-out? The nice thing about picnics is you can have them just about anywhere, like the park or your front lawn or that little grassy patch by your apartment building. You don't even have to sit on the ground, honestly, that's what picnic tables are for! Hopefully it's a nice sunny day and you don't get rained out, but maybe you brought an umbrella just in case.

[Egg is sitting up, leaning back on her arms with her legs stretched out on their shared blanket. It's so nice to be outside on such a beautiful day. She tilts her face tilted up towards the sky to enjoy the sun for a moment before she looks over at Lucy and laughs.]

What, are your days not normally peaceful?

[She knows they aren't, she is 100% teasing Lucy. Her partners are a riot in more ways than one.]

[Lucy laughs right back and plops down on her back against the ground, not caring just yet about the possibility of bugs in her hair.]

You wanna know how I got them to leave me alone today?

[she holds up one hand with all five of her fingers splayed out.]

"Whoever texts me first at five o' clock gets to spend all day tomorrow with me doing whatever they want--but if I hear a peep before then, then all bets are off."

[She snickers, like it's the most diabolical plan, but somewhere inside her she knows it's pretty flimsy; those three have no self-control. She sighs a little.]

...If that even works.

[Egg shifts her body so she's leaning her torso against raised knees and rests one arm on top of them, hand against her cheek. She makes a pff sound.]

Guess you'll see!

[She smiles.]

They must really love you. I don't think it would have worked this long if they didn't.

[Lucy blushes and puts her hands on her cheeks.]

Hehe...I guess so...

[She gets pretty caught up in how dreamy of an idea that is, that love alone can keep her partners quiet for a few hours.]

[...Almost too quiet.]

[Lucy's expression changes from lovey dreaminess to something more serious and she squints her eyes.]

They better not be getting into trouble and not telling me now that they have an excuse not to.

[Egg's mouth drops open, she hadn't thought of that.]

Oh, well...

[She shakes her head a little.]

I'm...sure they're doing fine?

[Egg grimaces.]

I mean, they wouldn't do that right?
